MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's basketball team will wrap up the regular season with a pair of home games against Concordia-St. Paul this weekend. Friday, Feb. 19th, the teams will tip-off at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday's game will begin at 3:00 p.m. Immediately at the conclusion of Saturday's game, the Mavericks will hold a ceremony honoring the team's senior class.
Mavericks at a Glance: Last weekend the Mavericks earned a pair of wire-to-wire victories over the Upper Iowa Peacocks at Taylor Center. With the wins, Minnesota State moved to 8-5 (7-4 NSIC) as the team prepares for the final week of the regular season.

About Concordia-St. Paul: Last weekend, Concordia-St. Paul split a pair of games against the Winona State Warriors. The Golden Bears are led by sixth year head coach Amanda Johnson.Â
Concordia-St. Paul's top offensive threat is senior guard Riley Wheatcraft who is averaging 13.7 points per game while also averaging 4.8 rebounds per game. Lindsey Becher (10.9 ppg) is the second leading scorer for the Golden Bears and the leading rebounder averaging 5.1 boards per contest.
As a team, Concordia-St. Paul averages 71.6 points per game compared to their opponents 60.1 points per game. The Golden Bears average 38.4 rebounds per game and average 6.7 blocks per contest.
For the teams, these games will mark the 41st and 42nd all-time meeting with the Mavericks and Golden Bears. Last season, Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul split the home and away series with the home team winning each game.
Looking Ahead: If the Mavericks finish in the top four of the Southern Division of the NSIC, they will advance to the NSIC Tournament which will be held entirely at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. Tournament action is scheduled to begin Thursday Feb, 25 with seeding and game times to be determined. Due to the ongoing health concerns, the NSIC has determined that there will be not attendance at the conference tournament for the health and safety of all student athletes and required staff.
