BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Minnesota State freshman diver Sydney Hanson has been named the NSIC Diver of the Week for the second consecutive week.

A native of Bettendorf, Iowa, Hanson won both the 1-Meter (240.15 points) and 3-Meter (237.65 points) diving events against Sioux Falls and Jamestown this past weekend.

Hanson is the first Maverick to receive two NSIC Diver of the Week honors in the same season since 2018-19 season when Hannah Gosen garnered the award three times.

Minnesota State returns to action on Saturday, November 6, as it takes on both Gustavus Adolphus and UW-Stevens Point at 1:00 p.m. Minnesota State will host the diving events, while Gustavus Adolphus will host the swimming events.
