MANKATO, Minn. ---  Minnesota State head coach Todd Hoffner has announced that Collin Prosser has been named Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach after serving as the team's offensive line coach since 2017.

"I am excited to announce Coach Prosser as the next Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at Minnesota State," Hoffner said. "Coach Prosser has established a lasting bond with our student-athletes at MSU and he has a strong pedigree in coordinating a college offense. We look forward to his leadership in guiding the next generation of student athletes at Minnesota State. Coach Prosser will be the game planner and play caller for the Mavericks.

During Prosser's time as offensive line coach, which dates back to the 2017 season, Minnesota State has rushed for more than 3,300 yards each year, including a program record 4,246 yards during the 2019 campaign. Along with the single-season rushing yards record, the Mavericks also set records in points scored (712), rushing attempts (713) and rushing touchdowns (59) in 2019.

Members of the MSU offensive line have garnered multiple honors during Prosser's tenure including 10 All-NSIC honors. Three Mavericks, including Jake Porter, Evan Heim and Hunter Toppel have received All-American honors during Prosser's tenure, as well.

Prosser replaces Joe Beschorner who was named the running backs coach at North Dakota State.
