Mavericks rated Fifth by USCHO

Mankato, Minn. --- Minnesota State is rated #5 in the USCHO NCAA Division I men's hockey poll announced Monday.

The Mavericks, who did not play this past weekend, picked up 644 points in this week's poll. Minnesota (9-0-0), which garnered 31 first-place votes and 790 points, is rated first this week.

Minnesota State (5-1-1) is scheduled for a pair of league contests this Friday and Saturday vs. Lake Superior State in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.
