Mankato, Minn. ---  Minnesota State sophomore Dryden McKay has been named a top-five finalist for the 2019-20 Richter Award, which goes to the top men's college hockey goaltender in the nation.

McKay, who is also a Hobey Baker Top-10 Finalist, was the Western Collegiate Hockey Association's Goaltender of the Year in 2019-20 after winning the WCHA goaltending championship with a league-record 1.17 goals against average in WCHA play. His shutout total ties for second all-time in the NCAA record books. He was a three-time WCHA Goaltender of the Month pick and was named National Goaltender of the Month for November by the Hockey Commissioners Association.
