Mankato, Minn.--- Minnesota State hosted day one of the 2020 NSIC Indoor Championships at Myers Field House.
As a team the Mavericks currently sit in first place with 50 points after Friday's events.
The long jump saw Caleb Kath win the event with a leap of (7.24m-23-09.00). William Forbes placed fourth with a leap of (6.99m-22-11.25)
Connor McCormick finished fifth in the weight throw with a toss of (17.86m-58-07.25).
The pole vault saw Kyle Johnson (4.80m-15-09.00), Carson Dittel, (4.70m-15-05.00), and Jack Hodge (4.60m-15-01.00) finish first, second, and third respectively.
Minnesota State will look ahead to day two of the NSIC Indoor Championships. Saturday will begin with the field events starting at 9:30 a.m.
