Mavericks Rated Third by USCHO Voters This Week

Mankato, Minn. --- Minnesota State is rated third in the USCHO NCAA Division I men's hockey poll announced Monday.

The Mavericks, who claimed a two-game home league sweep over Northern Michigan last weekend, picked up 920 points and one first-place vote in this week's poll. North Dakota (21-3-3), which had 48 first-place votes, earned 998 points from this week's voters in ranking first in the country. Cornell (17-2-4) had one first-place vote and 927 points to rank second.

Minnesota State (26-4-2) is idle this week before hosting Alabama Huntsville in its next action Feb. 21-22.
