Mike Hastings, who is in his eighth season in charge of the Mavericks. No program in the nation has won more games (201) during the time Hastings has been behind the MSU bench.
Hastings is the 19th coach in the history of the WCHA to reach the 200-win mark while coaching in the WCHA. Minnesota Duluth's Scott Sandelin (2000-13) and Wisconsin's Mike Eaves (2002-13) are tied for 17th with 231 WCHA victories.

Dryden McKay, a five-time Western Collegiate Hockey Association Goaltender of the Week honoree this year, stands 17-2-1 with a .947 save percentage and 1.20 goals against average on the season. The Downers Grove, Ill., native leads the country in wins, goals against average, save percentage and shutouts (he has six). McKay's six shutouts this year stand tied for first on the school's single-season list (Cole Huggins had six in 2013-14). His ten career shutouts are tied for second all-time at Minnesota State (Stephon Williams (MSU 2012-15) also had 10 and Huggins owns the record with 11).

Senior forward
Marc Michaelis, who scored twice and assisted on another in last Friday's 4-0 win over Alaska, stands tied for fourth in the country in scoring with 13-13--26 in 22 games played for 2019-20. A three-time First Team All-WCHA selection and the 2019-20 WCHA Preseason Player of the Year, Michaelis is the NCAA's active career scoring leader with 144 points (64 Gs, 80 As) in 138 career games played. His 144 points is tied for third on Minnesota State's career scoring list for the DI-era.

Senior forward
Parker Tuomie, who registered a goal and an assist in last Friday's 4-0 win over Alaska, has 40-75--115 in 136 games for his four-year Minnesota State career. His 115 points is tenth on Minnesota State's career point-scoring list.
On the Rivera
Senior winger
Nick Rivera tallied twice and was named the game's First Star in last Saturday's 3-1 victory over the University of Alaska. His first goal of the game was his fifth career shorthanded goal. Rivera, whose other goal vs. Alaska was an empty-netter, has tallied 27-24--51 in 135 career games.

With 8-5--13 on the year, junior winger
Reggie Lutz has reached a career-high for goals in a season. Lutz, who pickup his eighth career game-winning goal in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Nanooks, has 22-34--56 in 97 career contests.

Edwin Hookenson scored his second career game-winning goal when he scored Minnesota State's first goal in last Saturday's 4-0 win over visiting Alaska. Hookenson, who has 8-15--23 in 108 career games, is +30 and has 182 blocked shots in his four years with the Mavericks.

Junior defenseman
Jack McNeely assisted on a goal by Marc Michaelis in last Friday's 4-0 win over the University of Alaska and has totalled 1-3--4 in the last six games. For the year the Lakeville, Minn., native has 1-6--7 and ranks second on the team with a +12 rating.
