Marshall, Minn. – The Minnesota State women's golf team turned in a second-place finish at the Ramada Mustang Invitational which took place at the Marshall Golf Club in Marshall, Minn., the past two days.
The Mavericks crafted rounds of 311 and 316 in totaling 627 for the 36 holes of the event. Augustana (S.D.) combined to shoot 608 to claim the team title. There were 12 teams and 85 individuals that competed at the tournament.
Minnesota State junior
Maddy Messin was the top Maverick individual at the tournament with her combined score of 154 on rounds of 78 and 76 placing her sixth.
