Charlotte, N.C.--- In the second day of the NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor National Championships
Khadiya Hollingsworth won the national championship in the high jump.
Hollingsworth won the event with a top jump of 1.84m (6'0.5") which sets a new Minnesota State University record. Also in the high jump,
Rachel Schumacher finished tied for seventeenth with a jump of 1.63m (5'4.25").
Events will continue tomorrow as
Eboni Coby, who qualified for finals yesterday in the 100m dash, will attempt to claim the championship with the event scheduled to run at 4:55 P.M.
