MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's basketball team will return home from its two-game road trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan when it faces Bethany Lutheran College Monday, Nov. 26 at 6:00 p.m., at Taylor Center.
Mavericks at a Glance: Minnesota State (2-1, 0-0 NSIC), enters the week after taking to the road for the first time this season, and splitting a pair of games with Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech. Friday afternoon the Mavericks lost to the Northern Michigan Wildcats 71-51, but Sunday afternoon they bounced back defeating the Michigan Tech Huskies 72-68 in an overtime thriller.

Taylor Drost is the leading scorer for the Mavericks averaging 11 points per game, including a 21-point outing against the Huskies. Senior guard

Brooke Tonsfeldt is the leading Maverick in rebounds averaging 6.7 per game and also is averaging 3.3 steals per game.

Scouting Bethany Lutheran: Bethany Lutheran is located in Mankato, Minn., and is currently 4-0 on the season. The Vikings are members of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC). Bethany Lutheran is led by head coach Lyle Jones who is in his 17th season with the Vikings.
