MOORHEAD, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team earned its sixth dual victory of the season Saturday afternoon as it defeated MSU Moorhead 186-114. With the win, the Mavericks now own a 6-1 record in dual competition.
In total, the Mavericks won 11 events, three of which came courtesy of both senior
Taylor Bass and senior
Chelsea Calhoon. Bass claimed the top times in the 200-yard butterfly (2:09.84), the 100-yard freestyle (53.13) and the 100-yard butterfly (59.03), while Calhoon won the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.44), the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.44) and the 200-yard IM (2:10.63).
Freshman Emelia Selky won multiple events against MSU Moorhead as well as she turned in a time of 11:02.44 in the 1,000-yard freestyle and a time of 5:24.86 in the 500-yard freestyle.
The Mavericks also boasted the top finishes in both relay events. The quartet of senior

Kylie Gaeth and sophomore
Maggie Knier won the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:48.30, while the team of Bass, Knier, sophomore
Kirsten Siebenga and Hake won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:38.94.
Sophomore
Amanda Hernesman won the 3-meter diving event with a score of 228.50, while junior
Hannah Guy took second place in the 1-meter diving event with a score of 210.55.
Minnesota State returns to action on Wednesday, Feb. 14, as it takes part in the NSIC Championships in Fargo, N.D.
