Maverick Swimming and Diving Ranked 15th in CSCAA Preseason Poll

MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team has been ranked 15th in the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Preseason Poll.

MSU received 83 points in the poll to claim the 15th spot, while Nova Southeastern topped the poll with 245 points. The Mavericks are one of two NSIC teams ranked in the top-25. Augustana received the 25th ranking with 17 points.

Last season, the Mavericks finished first at the NSIC Championships with 1,166.5 points to secure their fourth NSIC Championship in team history. MSU would go on to finish 29th at the NCAA Championships with 14 points.

Minnesota State opens its regular season schedule this Friday as it hosts South Dakota at Highland Pool. The dual is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.
