2017-18: Was named NSIC Swimmer of the Week twice during the season. Placed 22nd at NCAA Championships in the 100 and 200 butterfly with a time of 55.89 and 2:05.35. Placed 17th in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:01.79 at NCAA Championships... Was a member on the 200 freestyle, 400 freestyle, 200 medley, and 400 medley relays at the NCAA Championships. Won the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.92 at the NSIC Championships and set the pool record. Won the 100 butterfly at NSIC Championships with a pool record of 55.30. Won the 200 butterfly at NSIC with a pool and MSU school record of 2:03.73. Placed fourth in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:02.05 at NSIC Championships... Earned All-NSIC honors for the 400 freestyle relay, and was a member of the 200 freestyle relay that qualified for NCAA Championship. Was a member of the NSIC winning 800 freetyle relay, helping to turn in a new MSU school and NSIC record.

2016-17: Earned All-American honors in the 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay events at the NCAA Championships…Was a member of the 400 freestyle relay and the 400 medley relay teams that finished first at the NSIC Championships…Also earned All-NSIC honors in the 200 IM, the 100 butterfly, the 200 butterfly and the 800 yard freestyle relay events…Finished in 21st place (56.32) in the 100 butterfly event at the NCAA Championships and 28th in the 200 IM (2:06.14)…Finished first in the 100 IM at the NSIC Championships (58.44)…Set school records in the 100 butterfly (54.95), the 200 butterfly (2:04.77) and the 200 freestyle (1:52.13).

2015-16: Won the 50-yard freestyle event at the UW-Stevens Point Invite with a time of 24.57…Won the 200-yard freestyle relay event against MSU Moorhead with a time of 1:57.67…Took third place in the 200-yard IM event at the NSISC Championships with a time of 2:05.76…Also finished third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:52.13) and the 100-yard IM (57.94) at the NSISC Championships…Her mark of 1:52.13 in the 200-yard freestyle set an MSU record…Was a member of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that set a school record with a time of 7:41.72 and the 400-yard freestyle relay team that set a record with a time of 3:27.22.

2014-15: Named the team’s Rookie of the Year…Named an NSISC Scholar Athlete…Set a new school record in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:03.13…Finished second at the NSISC Championships in the 200-yard IM, third in the 200-yard backstroke and fifth in the 400-yard IM…Named the NSISC Swimmer of the Week after winning the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle events at the St. Olaf Invite…Earned her second NSISC Swimmer of the Week honor after winning the 200-yard freestyle, the 200-yard backstroke and the 200-yard IM in MSU’s dual against MSU Moorhead…Posted provisional national qualifying times in the 100-yard backstroke, the 200-yard backstroke and the 200-yard IM.

High School: Bass was a four-year member of the John Marshall High School swimming and diving team...A 12-year member of the Rochester Swim Club Orcas, she competed in several events including sprints, freestyle, backstroke and the individual medley...She garnered four all-conference and all-state honors, to go along with three All-American awards, en route to being named a team captain...Won five individual section championships and one individual high school state championship...Named a finalist for the Rochester Amateur Sports Commission Female Athlete of the Year in 2011 and finished eighth in the national age group top-16 in the 200 yard backstroke in 2009.

Personal: Taylor is the daughter of Sue Bass...Born September 8, 1995...Majoring in sports management, with a minor in coaching.
