Anna Fiegert (1-1--2) scored the game-winning goal in Minnesota State's 3-2 win over Bemidji State on Saturday. The goal was the first of the season for Fiegert -- the fifth of her Maverick career. The goal also gave Fiegert 20 career points.
The Bustad Blitz: Junior forward
Sara Bustad (1-0--1) provided the Mavericks with a quick 1-0 lead against Bemidji State on Saturday when she scored her first goal of the season at 2:14 in the first period. The Mavericks won the game 3-2.

Emily Antony (4-4--8) paces the Mavericks in goals and points. Antony scored the Mavericks' second goal in Saturday's 3-2 win over Bemidji State. The goal, which was scored at 4:55 of the first period, gave the Mavericks a 2-0 lead at the time.

Lindsey Coleman (3-3--6) has shown its offensive chemistry this season. Over their last six games, Antony, Mclaughlin, and Coleman have combined for five goals and seven assists for 12 points. The trio tallied one goal and one assist for two points in the Mavericks' 3-2 win over Bemidji State on Saturday.

Keeping Up With Quade: Senior netminder
Brianna Quade earned a second consecutive WCHA Defensive Player of the Week Honorable Mention after tallying 55 saves, a 2.00 goals against average and a .932 save percentage last weekend against Bemidji State. She picked up her first career WCHA win on Saturday -- making 23 saves in the process. Quade has played in 59 career games and recorded 1,737 saves -- the fifth-highest save total in Minnesota State history.

Winning in the WCHA: Minnesota State picked up its second WCHA win of the season with a 3-2 victory over Bemidji State on Dec. 3 at Verizon Wireless Center. The Mavericks have now won two of their last four WCHA contests -- splitting series with Ohio State and Bemidji State.
Scouting Minnesota Duluth: The third-ranked Bulldogs (12-3-3, 9-3-2-1 WCHA) enter the weekend riding a four-game winning streak after series sweeps over Harvard and St. Cloud State.
The Bulldogs are led on offense by Lara Stalder (8-18--26), Ashleigh Brykaliuk (11-11--22) and Katherine McGovern (10-10-20).
In goal, Maddy Rooney (12-3-3) has garnered a .940 save percentage and a 1.71 goals against average over 18 starts.
