WINONA, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team was swept by Upper Iowa 9-0 Saturday afternoon at the Winona Tennis Center in Winona, Minn.
Upper Iowa started the day winning all three of the doubles matches. The team of freshman
Killian Doran and junior
Sarah McCann fell in the No.1 doubles match to Saki Kawabata and Iris Verwij by the score of 8-5.
The Peacocks finished the dual winning all six of the singles matches in straight sets. Freshman
Lisa Dobbelaere fell to Anna Okolot 7-6, 7-5 in the No. 4 singles match.
The Mavericks continue conference action in Winona, Minn. on Sunday as they take on Winona State. The dual is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
