EAU CLAIRE, Wis. --- The Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team won its first road dual of the season as it topped UW-Eau Claire 174-126.
In total, the Mavericks won nine events on the day, including a pair of relay events.
Senior
Samantha Rasmussen won a pair of events, including the 500-yard freestyle (5:30.42) and the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:09.83). Sophomore
Chelsea Calhoon finished second in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:17.26, to go along with the top finish in the 200-yard backstroke event with a time of 2:10.36.
Junior
Carley LeDoux turned in the top time in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:32.90, while sophomore
Taylor Bass finished first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:57.63. Junior
Cheyenne Rova and sophomore
Cecilia Hake each turned in a first place finish as well, with Rova winning the 50-yard freestyle (24.72) and Hake winning the 100-yard backstroke (58.17).

Kylie Gaeth and Rova won the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:51.17. The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Gaeth, junior
Nicole Bean, Bass and Hake turned in the top finish with a time of 1:40.18.
The Mavericks continue their season on Saturday, Oct. 31, as they host Gustavus Adolphus at 12:30 p.m.
