DULUTH, Minn. --- Junior
Erin Krichiver made a career high 59 saves but the Minnesota State women's hockey was unable to find the back of the net as they fell to #10 Minnesota Duluth by a score of 3-0.
The Mavericks fall to 0-6-1 and are 0-4-1 in the WCHA while the Bulldogs improve to 5-4-2 and own a league ledger of 2-4-1.
The Bulldogs outshot the Mavericks 20-6 in the first period and scored with less than a minute remaining as Jenna McParland snuck one past Krichiver.
During the middle stanza Minnesota Duluth struck again to increase its lead to 2-0 as Brienna Gillanders tallied her first goal of the season for the Bulldogs.
McParland added her second goal of the game on the power-play in the final period to bring the game to a final score of 3-0.

Katie Johnson lead the team with four shots while freshman
Elin Johansson added three of her own. As a team MSU was outshot 62-15 and went 0-2 on the power-play.
Krichiver, with her 59 saves, tied for second most in a single game by a goalie at Minnesota State and was named the second star of the game. With the loss her record drops to 0-4-1.
The Mavericks and Bulldogs will wrap up the weekend with an afternoon game tomorrow. The puck is set to drop at 3:07 p.m.
