Samantha Bergamann# have been named to the
Capital One Academic All-District Seven At-Large squads for their athletic and academic success.
The duo now advances to the national ballot for the right to be named an Academic All-American by Capital One. The Capital One Academic All-District teams are voted on by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America and to be eligible a student athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and carry a 3.30 grade point average or higher.
Todd wrapped up his collegiate wrestling career at Minnesota State with a 29-11 record, registering 17 wins by decision and was 12-2 in dual action. An Academic All-NSIC selection this season, Todd was also a NWCA All-Academic First Team choice. Additionally, he was honored as a Maverick Achievement Award winner this past spring as well as a Myles Brand award winner.
Bergmann was a First Team All-NSIC this past spring. A two-time Academic All-NSIC selection, Bergmann also earned the Myles Brand Award this past winte. A native of New Ulm, Minn., led MSU in scoring average this year with a 78.9 over 20 rounds of golf.
Since 1974, Minnesota State has had 37 Academic All-Americans.
