Mustang Minute: Southwest Minnesota State enters the week owners of a 13-10 record, including an 8-9 mark in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, which is good for eighth-place. Last weekend, the Mustangs suffered a 64-51 loss at St. Cloud State before dropping a 109-104 triple-overtime loss at Concordia.
The Mustangs are averaging 70.6 points per game and are allowing 67.1. SMSU is shooting 43.1 percent from the floor and own a +5.4 margin on the glass. Junior forward Scott Roehl leads the squad in scoring and rebounding, averaging 13.7 points per game and 8.2 rebounds.Redshirt freshman Jordan Miller is second on the squad in scoring at 11.1 points per game. The Mustangs are coached Brad Bigler who is in his first season with the program.
