Cedar Falls, Iowa – Minnesota State will open the 2010 NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals against sixth-ranked Western State, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9th. The event, hosted at the UNI-Dome on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa, features the top teams in NCAA Division I, II and III, as well as those competing in NJCAA and NAIA.
The Mavericks, ranked #12 in the latest edition of the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association poll, did not earn a seed in the tournament while Western was seeded fifth. The winner of that dual will advance to face the victor in the matchup between Central Oklahoma and West Liberty.
