Mankato, Minn. --- The St. Cloud State women's swimming and diving team earned a 197-103 victory over Minnesota State this past weekend in a two-day dual held at the Highland Pool.
In the relays, MSU earned a pair of top-five finishes in the 200-yard medley relay. The relay team of senior Angela Krych, sophomore Kaitlin Ogden, freshman Tabby Temperly and freshman Kim Christensen was second touching in 1:49.91, while the team of sophomore Adrinne Vida, junior Claire Bergman, freshman Alyssa Kuffel and junior Chelsea Chapman was fourth touching in 1:56.67.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay, Christensen, Ogden, junior Kristin Hayes and Chapman finished second with a time of 1:40.04, while freshman Kelsea Smith, sophomore Stefanie Edwards, Bergman and Temperely finished fourth in 1:44.54.
Individually, freshman Marissa Reeve won the 1,000-yard freestyle touching in 10:53.08. Krych won the 100-yard backstroke in :59.44 and the 100-yard freestyle with a time of :53.82
