Pre MSU: Spent four seasons at Central Michigan prior to joining Mavericks…Redshirted freshman season and lettered freshman and junior seasons…Finished 2011 season 3-3 with 2.96 ERA and 24 and 1/3 innings pitched in 16 appearances…Sat out sophomore season due to Tommy John surgery on his right elbow…Also pitched for Eau Claire Express of the Northwoods League for two summers…In 2011, went 2-2 with four saves, 3.92 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 43 and 2/3 innings pitched for the Express.
