MANKATO, Minn. - Minnesota State women's hockey has been ranked No. 13 in this year's USA Hockey Division I Preseason Poll. 

The Mavericks finished last year ranked No. 13 after a 17-19-2 season. They are one of five teams from the WCHA to be ranked alongside Wisconsin (1), Ohio State (2), Minnesota (3), and University of Minnesota Duluth (9). 

The Mavericks start their season next week against RPI on Friday at 11:00 a.m., with another game on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
