BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Minnesota State's
Connor Fournier has been named the NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts this past weekend.
A junior from Maple Grove, Minn., Fournier went 3-for-4 in field goal attempts in MSU's 30-13 win over Bemidji State this past weekend at Blakeslee Stadium. Fournier connected on field goal attempts from 46, 41 and 38 yards out as he recorded a total of 12 points. His three field goals matched his previous career-high for field goals in a game.
This marks the fourth time in his career that Fournier has been named the NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week. He previously received the award three times during the 2025 season on Sept. 2, Oct. 13 and Nov. 10.
Minnesota State continues its season at home this Saturday as it hosts the Northern State Wolves. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Blakeslee Stadium.
