LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- A total of 17 Minnesota State softball players have earned Easton/NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete accolades for their efforts in the classroom this past season.

Madelyn Bode, Chloe Brandt, Ireland Broderick, Paxton Dekkers, Avery Dorman, Reese Falish, Maddie Helin, Izzy Hycnar, Gianna Lara, Ysabel Lerma, Ryanne Mellum, Maddie Oetzmann, Lucy Porter, Kenedi Pryne, Jordan Schwantz, Hannah Tong and Ava Volkman all earned scholar-athlete honors. In total, NCAA Division II had 1,869 softball student-athletes boast a 3.5 GPA or higher this past season.

As a team, Minnesota State finished in a tied for 24th in the Division II team standings with a combined GPA of 3.68. The Mavericks boasted the second-highest team GPA from the NSIC, trailing only Bemidji State which put together a 3.74 team GPA to finish in a tie for ninth in the team standings.
