High School: Was a corner infielder for the Lincoln High School softball team...Named to the state's all-tournament team in 2023 and 2025...Earned an All-State honorable mention as she helped her team win a state championship in 2024...Earned All-Metro Conference honors in 2024 and 2025...Claimed All-State honors in 2025 and was named a scholar athlete...Member of the National Honor Society. 

Personal: Paxton is the daughter of Keri and Todd Dekkers...Intends to major in nursing...Her dad Todd played baseball at Upper Iowa from 1997-02.
