INDIANAPOLIS --- The qualifiers for the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships have been announced.
Twenty-five Maverick student-athletes (14 men, 11 women) will compete in several events at the NCAA Championships, including three relay events.
Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching a provisional standard established for each event.
The three-day NCAA Outdoor Championships will be held at Francis G. Welch Stadium in Emporia, Kan., from May 21-23.
The men's track and field team ranks third in Division II after winning the NSIC Outdoor Championships. The women's track and field team ranks sixth in Division II after winning the NSIC Outdoor Championships as well.
