NEW ORLEANS --- The Minnesota State men's track and field team has been ranked third at checkpoint five of the USTFCCCA Division II outdoor rankings.
The Mavericks are the highest rated NSIC team and trail only Grand Valley State and Pittsburg State in the overall rankings.
The 4x400 relay team of
Rinaldo Moore,
Qai Hussey,
Kenjuan Hampton and
Quinton Ellis ranks second in Division II with a time of 3:06.48, while
Hayden Bills ranks second in both the discus (59.35m, 194-8) and the shot put (18.74m, 61-5.75) events.
Minnesota State returns to action on Wednesday as it hosts the Todd Pfingsten Open at the Mark Schuck Outdoor Track and Field Complex.
