INDIANAPOLIS --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team has been ranked sixth in the most recent edition of the NCAA Central Region Rankings.
The NCAA Central Region includes teams from the NSIC, the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) and the Great American Conference (GAC). The postseason tournament winner from each conference receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on May 8-9 and will be joined by the next three highest ranked teams in the final selections.
MSU continues its season on Saturday in the semifinals of the NSIC Tournament. The Mavericks will take on the winner of the dual between Sioux Falls and Bemidji State at 4:30 p.m. at the Heuther Tennis Center.
