BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Minnesota State's Ghada Hamdani has been named the NSIC Field Athlete of the Week for the second time in the outdoor season this year.

A junior from Bizerte, Tunisia, Hamdani won the triple jump event at the Pittsburg State Tune Up with a jump of 12.74m (41-9.75). Her jump ranks fourth in NCAA Division II this season.

Hamdani was previously named the NSIC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week back on March 31.

The Minnesota State women's track and field team returns to action this Wednesday as the Mavericks compete in the Gary Wilson Invitation in Minneapolis, Minn., and the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.
