INDIANAPOLIS --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team has appeared in the first edition of the NCAA Central Region rankings.
This edition lists teams that are under consideration in alphabetical order.
The NCAA Central Region is comprised of the 26 teams from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (10), Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) (10), and the Great American Conference (GAC) (6). The post season tournament winner from each conference receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Central Region Tournament on May 8-9 and will be joined by the next three highest ranked teams in the final selections.
Minnesota State wraps up its regular season schedule on Saturday as it takes on Winona State at the Owatonna Indoor Tennis Center in Owatonna, Minn., at noon.
