LILBURN, Ga. — Minnesota State held steady at No. 2 in the WBCA Coaches Poll for the eighth consecutive week, continuing its strong presence among the nation's top programs.
The Mavericks showcased their dominance at home last weekend inside the Taylor Center, earning an 81–52 win over Northern State before rolling past Jamestown with a 107–60 victory. The team is now 20-0 on the season.
MSU remains the only program from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference featured in the top 25. Minnesota Duluth has received votes in four straight polls but has yet to break into the rankings.
Minnesota State returns to action on Friday, Jan. 30, when it travels to Minnesota Crookston for a conference matchup inside Lysaker Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., with the game streaming live on the NSIC Network.
