BURNSVILLE, Minn. - Minnesota State men's track and field earned both NSIC weekly Athlete of the Week awards announced on Tuesday (Jan. 27). Senior Rinaldo Moore was selected as NSIC Track Athlete of the Week. Sophomore Hayden Bills was named NSIC Field Athlete of the Week. Both marked notable performances over the weekend at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational in Iowa City, Iowa.

Rinaldo Moore (Hurdles/Sprints, Sr., Port Au Spain, Trinidad and Tobago) - Minnesota State
- Set a personal record and third best time in Division II in the 60 meter hurdles
- Ran a time of 7.90 at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational in Iowa City for fourth place
- Placed 14th in 60-meter dash prelims with a personal best time 6.92
- Placed sixth in 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:16.99
- Named NSIC Track Athlete of the Week for the second week in a row

Hayden Bills (Throws, So., Rosemount, Minn. / Rosemount HS) -Minnesota State
- Placed second in shot put at Larry Wieczorek Invitational
- Had a mark of 60-7.25 (18.47m), which would rank fifth in NCAA Division II this season
- Placed 16th in weight throw with mark of 17.50m (57-5) for the Mavericks
- Own top mark in shot put in NCAA Division II with a mark of 62-7.75 (19.09m) from the Chuck Petersen Open

Friday and Saturday, No. 4 rated Minnesota State hosts the Mark Schuck Open & Multi at Myers Field House, which features more than 20 schools from multiple NCAA divisions. Fans unable to attend can watch on the NSIC Network.
