MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato has announced the hiring of Matthew Meyer as the new Director of Women's Hockey Operations for the 2025-26 season.
A native of St. Louis Park, Minn., Meyer joins the Mavericks after gaining experience at multiple levels of hockey. He graduated from Drake University in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics and Computer Science.
Meyer previously spent three seasons as an intern with the Iowa Wild (AHL), where he assisted the video coach with time-on-ice tracking and contributed to analytics projects with the Minnesota Wild's Director of Analytics. He also volunteered with Augsburg University men's hockey from 2021-25, handling video responsibilities, live event tagging, and providing the coaching staff with advanced analytics.

"Matthew brings a wealth of knowledge from the analytics side that will add tremendous value to our program. He is very organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who will be a great addition to our staff."
