MANKATO, Minn. – Three student-athletes from the Minnesota State tennis team have been named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for their efforts on the court and in the classroom this past season.

Seniors
Avery Stilwell (Litchfield, Minnesota) and
Elizabeth Felderman (Mandan, North Dakota), along with junior
McKenna DeMarce have all been named to the CSC Academic All-District Team and will now advance on to the Academic All-American ballot.

Stilwell was again All-NSIC Doubles First Team and All-NSIC Singles Second Team this spring. She and teammate
Freia Lawrence were nationally ranked in Division II by ITA. Stilwell also posted a winning singles record at No. 2. She will be a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Mavericks starting next season.

DeMarce (Las Vegas, Nevada) had a stellar junior campaign and finished 12-3 at No. 3 singles, including 9-0 in NSIC matches. In doubles, DeMarce and Felderman went 11-5 at No. 2 (7-2 vs. NSIC opponents). She was awarded the NSIC Elite 18 Award at the NSIC Championships in April. She holds a 4.00 GPA double majoring in communication studies and disorders and American sign language.
Felderman finished 8-3 at No. 5 singles and 9-6 overall for the Mavericks.

Minnesota State tennis finished the season 12-4 overall, 8-1 in NSIC play and made the NSIC Tournament Championship for the third straight season.
