Box Score BEMIDJI, Minn. – Minnesota State tennis continued its strong play against conference opponents with a 6-1 win over Minnesota Crookston Saturday afternoon at Gillett Wellness Center. The Mavericks (10-2, 7-1 NSIC) have won seven of their last eight matches, with two left to play in the regular season.

The No. 35 ranked doubles duo of
Freia Lawrence and
Avery Stilwell improve to 10-2 this spring with a 6-1 win at No. 1 over UMC's Daniela de Lucas Rivera and Araidna Solis Guals.
McKenna DeMarce and
Elizabeth Felderman secured the team doubles point at No. 2 with a 6-4 win over Blaike Zander and Asli Oktay.

The top of the singles lineup provided three more points for the Mavericks, including Lawrence, who improved to 9-3 at No. 1. Minnesota Crookston fell to 6-6 overall, 3-3 NSIC.

The Mavericks conclude the weekend road trip at North Dakota Sunday at 10 a.m. at Choice Health and Fitness Club in Grand Forks. UND is the second NCAA Division I opponent this spring, after MSU defeated Eastern Illinois 5-2 on March 9.
