MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State's
Hailey Hansen has been named WCHA Goaltender of the Month for the second time this season after a stellar stretch of performances throughout November.
Hansen posted a 3–2 record during the month, with four of her starts coming against top-three nationally ranked opponents. After a challenging opening weekend at Ohio State, she responded with elite-level play, backstopping the Mavericks to a sweep at No. 3 Minnesota with a 1.00 goals-against average and a .969 save percentage. She capped the month with another strong outing in a win over Dartmouth, securing her third victory of November.
Minnesota State continues its season this weekend, hosting No. 13 St. Cloud State at the Mayo Clinic HSEC. Puck drop is set for 3 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday.
