COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Minnesota State women's hockey was ranked No. 15 in NCAA Division I by USA Hockey this week. Minnesota State women's hockey earned its first national ranking of the season. The Mavericks (8-7-1, 4-7-1 WCHA) surged into the rankings after sweeping the No. 3 Minnesota Gophers this past weekend for the first time since 2006-07.

MSU claimed a 3–1 victory Friday at Ridder Arena before returning home to secure a 4–1 win Saturday at the Mayo Clinic HSEC.

The Mavericks return to action this weekend as they host Dartmouth (2-7-1) in a non-conference series at the Mayo Clinic HSEC. Game times are 2 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday.
