LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Minnesota State volleyball team climbed to No. 23 in this week's AVCA Top-25 Poll, improving one spot after holding the No. 24 position for the past two weeks.

The Mavericks surged in the rankings after a dominant home finale, sweeping Bemidji State and previously-ranked No. 25 Minnesota Duluth.

Minnesota State is one of five Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) programs to appear in this week's poll. Wayne State leads the conference at No. 3, followed by Concordia-St. Paul at No. 6, St. Cloud State at No. 11, Southwest Minnesota State at No. 14, and MSU at No. 23. Minnesota Duluth and Northern State, both formerly ranked, dropped out of the national standings this week.

Minnesota State concludes its regular season on the road, beginning Friday, Nov. 14, at MSU Moorhead. First serve is set for 6 p.m. inside Nemzek Fieldhouse.
