BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Minnesota State junior
Whitney Tuttle (Rosemount, Minnesota) was named the Western Collegiate Hockey Association's Forward of the Week on Monday (Jan. 6).

Tuttle helped the MSU to a road sweep over Lindenwood over the weekend with a career-high game on Friday. In the 8-1 victory, she tallied four of the Mavericks' eight goals and became the first WCHA skater this season to record four goals in a game.

The junior forward also became the first Maverick since 2022 to score four goals in a contest. In the series, Tuttle combined for four points, two blocked shots and a plus/minus of six.

In 18 games this year, Tuttle leads the team with 11 goals. She also has four assists for 15 points (third) and a team-best plus-13 rating. Tuttle has two game-winning goals and seven blocked shots.
Minnesota State (10-9-1, 4-9-1 WCHA) plays next at No. 1 Wisconsin Dec. 11-12 at LaBahn Arena.
