MANKATO, Minn. – Three Minnesota State Mavericks earned WCHA Player of the Week honors after a dominant weekend sweep of Bemidji State, winning 5-0 on Friday and 5-3 on Saturday.
Madison Mashuga was named Forward of the Week after tallying three goals, including a hat trick on Friday, and one assist.
JuliAnna Gazdik earned Defender of the Week with three assists, while
Hailey Hansen secured her third Goaltender of the Week award with a shutout and her first conference sweep. Hansen boasts a .919 save percentage and a 2.17 goals-against average this season.
The Mavericks return to action January 3-4 on the road against Lindenwood.
