MANKATO, Minn – Sophomore
Hailey Hansen earned her first career WCHA Goaltender of the Week award after her performance in goal splitting the weekend with the number two team Ohio State.

Hailey is from Blaine, Minnesota and had an outstanding performance against No. 2 Ohio State. The Mavericks split the weekend with the Buckeyes. The Buckeyes won on Friday 2-1 in overtime. On Saturday the Mavericks collected a 4-1 victory, their first over OSU in 19 matchups. Hansen stopped 66 of the 69 shots she faced this weekend against OSU.

On Friday, she stopped 36 out of the 38 shots, followed by 30 of 31 shots faced Saturday. Hansen collected a .957 save percentage and 1.46 goals against average. She helped the Mavericks take 4 of 6 points from the Buckeyes.

This weekend the Mavericks will be continuing their season on the road as they travel to Dartmouth.
