MANKATO, Minn. --- #3 Minnesota State resumes its season this Friday at home as it takes on the Northern State Wolves. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., at Taylor Center.
Minnesota State History: The 2023-24 season marks the 102nd campaign as a varsity sport for Minnesota State men's basketball. The Mavericks are 1,427-945 (.601) in 2,372 games since the program's inception in the 1920-21 season. In the NSIC, MSU owns a 217-104 (.676) record to go with four regular-season championships and two tournament championships.
Against the Wolves: Friday's game between Minnesota State and Northern State marks their 33rd meeting, with MSU leading the all-time series 17-15. The Mavericks have lost their last two games against the Wolves, including a 104-87 loss on the road last season.
