Head coach
Brian Bahl after the game: "Really tough battle today in very challenging conditions. We knew it would be a 90-minute fight and it definitely was.
Our ladies had tremendous energy and a great work rate to them today and that helped carry us to the win. We got great minutes off the bench and that allowed us to stay fresh and close the game out.
Finding a way is becoming our theme and we hung in there and battled to get another 2nd half goal and win on the road. I'm very proud of our team for sticking together and showing tremendous heart and determination today!"
The Mavericks are back in action on Sunday as they travel to take on the Minot State Beavers at Noon. The Mavericks are one of five teams in the nation to allow one goal or fewer through their first six regular season matchups.
