MANKATO, Minn. --- Minnesota State begins an eight-game homestand this week as it hosts three doubleheaders in the Maverick All-Sports Dome  against Southwest Minnesota State, St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth.

Concerning the Mavericks: Minnesota State enters the week the owner of an 13-11 record, including a 2-4 NSIC record. Last week, MSU went 2-4 as it splits its series with Concordia-St. Paul and Wayne State. The Mavericks suffered a sweep from Augustana (3-1 & 2-0) in its most recent games.

Junior Ellie Tallman leads the Maverick hitters with a .384 batting average as she has tallied 18 hits and 14 RBI. Senior Sydney Nielsen is batting .300 with three home runs and 14 RBI also, while junior Kylie Sullivan has notched 21 hits and 17 runs scored.

Junior McKayla Armbruster leads the Mavericks in the circle this season with an 8-6 record and a 1.57 ERA. Armbruster has struck out 80 batters and has held opposing hitters to a .224 batting average. Sophomore Sophia Del Vecchio has put together a 4-3 record, to go along with a 3.07 ERA also. 

Lori Meyer is in her 39th season as head coach at Minnesota State. She owns a 1,348-725-3 record. 

Concerning the Mustangs: Southwest Minnesota State enters the week the owner of a 6-17 record, including a 1-3 NSIC record. SMSU was swept by Winona State (8-1 & 10-3) in its most recent outings.

Riley Kramolisch is batting .316 with 25 hits and eight RBI. Jillian Noel is batting .301 with 11 RBI and 16 runs scored. Paige Ahrendt has driven in 10 runs also.

Morgyn Otte owns a 5.63 ERA and a 1-6 record, while Karlie Miller has posted a 2-5 record, to go along with a 5.90 ERA.

Bailey Bouman is in her fifth season as head coach of the Mustangs. She owns an 82-101 record.

Concerning the Huskies: St. Cloud State enters the week the owner of a 19-12 record (4-2 NSIC), including a 4-2 NSIC record. SCSU split a pair of games vs. Minot State (W, 20-3 & L, 3-1) in its most recent outings.

Sydney Trees is batting .396 with 20 RBI and 28 runs scored. Jasmin Estrada is batting .385 with five home runs and 29 RBI, while Raven Vanden Langenberg has tallied 30 runs scored and seven stolen bases.

Trinity Junker owns a 10-4 record, to go along with a 2.67 ERA and 102 strikeouts. Justyce Porter is 3-3 on the season with a 3.00 ERA and 30 strikeouts.

Mitch Roberts is in his second season as head coach of the Huskies. He owns a 55-30 record.

Concerning the Bulldogs: Minnesota Duluth enters the week the owner of a 19-6 record (5-1 NSIC), including wins in its last five games. UMD swept UMary 3-0 and 4-2 in its most recent games.

Sydney Zavoral is batting .379 with 18 RBI and 14 runs scored, while Corrie Weise is batting .365 with 18 runs scored and six stolen bases. Nicole Schmitt is batting .333 with 20 hits and 15 runs scored also. 

Mady Stariha owns a 6-2 record, to go along with a 1.38 ERA and 21 strikeouts. Lauren Dixon has posted a 7-2 record, including a 2.09 ERA and 94 strikeouts.

Lynn Anderson is in her second season as head coach of the Bulldogs. She owns a 58-22 record.
