ST. PETER, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team picked up its seventh win of the season as it swept MSU Moorhead 7-0.
With the win, the Mavericks improve to 7-1, including a 3-1 NSIC record. With the loss, the Dragons drop to 5-8, including a 1-5 NSIC record.
The Mavericks began the day winning all three of the doubles matches to secure the first point of the dual.

Lois Page and sophomore
Avery Stilwell posted a 6-2 win on the No. 1 doubles match vs. Tiannah Gu and Madison Bell, while senior
Chiara Carnelutti and sophomore
Freia Lawrence won 6-4 in the No. 2 doubles match against Shaelyn Johnson and Tia Dykema. Freshman
McKenna DeMarce and sophomore
Elizabeth Felderman earned a 6-2 win over Marissa Burian and Claire Nemmers in the No. 3 doubles match as well.
The Mavericks finished the dual winning all six of the singles matches to secure the 7-0 sweep.
Page defeated Johnson 6-3, 6-1 in the No. 1 singles match, while Lawrence won 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 2 singles match against Gu. Carnelutti defeated Dykema 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 3 singles match, while Stilwell posted a 6-0, 6-0 win over Burian in the No. 4 singles match. DeMarce added a 7-6, 6-4 win over Nemmers in the No. 5 singles match, while Felderman posted a 6-4, 6-1 win over Bell in the No. 6 singles match.
Minnesota State wraps up its weekend on Saturday as it takes on the University of Mary in St. Peter, Minn. The dual is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.
