St. Charles, Mo. --- Minnesota State (4-2, 0-0 NSIC) suffered its second loss of the season to Lindenwood, 4-2, Sunday afternoon at the Lou Brock Complex.
After falling behind 1-0 after the first inning, junior
Ryan Wickman tied the game with his third homer of the season in the top of the third inning.
Lindenwood answered with three unanswered runs taking a 4-1 lead into the seventh.

Adam Schneider opened the seventh for the Mavericks with a double down the left field line before moving to third on a groundout off the bat of redshirt sophomore
Aidan Byrne. Schneider then scored as freshman
Louis Magers drove him in on a groundout.

Mikey Gottschalk paced the Mavericks with a 3-for-4 effort from the plate. Schneider was the only other Maverick with a multiple-hit game he went 2-for-4.
Eight different Mavericks worked off the mound today as redshirt freshman
Ethan Stade was tagged with the loss, his first of the year.
The Mavericks are back in action next week as they head to the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational. Minnesota State opens the invitational against Gannon University on March 2nd at 4:15 p.m. EST.
