Aidan Byrne spear-headed the Mavericks' offensive in the sixth and seventh innings after racking up two doubles and four RBIs on the day.
Junior pitcher
Nathan Culley (3-0) notched his third win on the season after going six innings allowing one hit and no earned runs. Culley compiled a season-high eight strikeouts on the day while seeing his ERA shrink to 0.95 on the season.
Dylan Crowley (0-1) got tagged with his first loss on the season, going four innings after allowing two runs on six hits.
The Mavericks are back in action tomorrow evening to take on the Tiffin University Dragons. The first pitch is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. EST.
