MANKATO, Minn. --- Minnesota State sophomores
Harrison Braudis and
Mason Muller have been named to the College Sports Communications Academic All-District Team.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve with at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA at his or her institution. Nominated athletes must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's games at the position listed. No student-athlete is eligible until he/she has completed one full calendar year at his/her current institution and is at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
A guard from Overland Park, Kan.,
Harrison Braudis has played in 25 games this season, while making 12 starts. He averaged 10.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per game while shooting 46.6% from the field. He scored more than 20 points in three games this past season, including a career-high 26 points against Bethany Lutheran. He owns a 3.72 GPA and is majoring in finance.
A forward from Petersburg, Ill.,
Mason Muller played in all 29 games for the Mavericks, while making 10 starts. He notched a season-high nine points against Bethany Lutheran. Against UMary, Muller hauled in 10 rebounds. Muller owns a 3.51 GPA and is majoring in biology.
Minnesota State finished its 2022-23 season with a 17-12 record.
